Responsibilities
The International Regional Manager is responsible for promoting Mayo Clinic’s core values, and the sales and services of Mayo Clinic Laboratories (MCL). In alignment with the MCL sales process and in collaboration with the Regional Service Specialists (RSS) and Clinical Specialty Representatives (CSR), the Regional Manager has overall territory accountability for generating new business revenue for Mayo Clinic’s specialized laboratory tests, establishing long-tern business relationships with well-aligned hospitals and laboratories, developing and leading specific account strategies, managing all aspects of new sale activities, account retention and growth. Requires daily interaction with all strata of clients, from health ministry officials, physicians, hospital and laboratory leaders to laboratory staff. Frequent travel required.
This position will be located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a telework position and requires incumbent to work from an office in their home. MCL has an office that the Regional Manager could utilize as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, medical technology, or biosciences and three years of documented, successful sales results or business management experience required; preferably laboratory or diagnostics experience. Sales experience should include managing the entire sales process including prospecting, cold calling, RFP management, negotiation, and closing under both long and short sales cycles.
This is a telework position and requires the incumbent to work from an office in their home located within Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. An MCL office is available for the Regional Manager to utilize when needed.This is not an expatriate position.
Additional Qualifications:
Health care industry experience is preferred. Must have excellent human relations, management, and communication skills. Must be accountable, adaptable, flexible, creative, dependable, responsible, and able to perform well within multi-functional environments, and be customer focused. Ability to manage several projects or tasks simultaneously and to exercise appropriate judgement when prioritizing projects. Decision-making and problem-solving ability, adherence to Mayo Clinic and MCL policies and procedures. Ability to function and work in a diverse work environment while selling MCL Services and providing direction to clients in a concise, sensitive, informative, and professional manner. Must maintain a high-level of integrity and be self-motivated to work independently. Keeps abreast of regulatory issues, reimbursement issues, and service requirements. Additional consideration will be given to candidates with a proven track record of successful international sales experience. Likewise, additional consideration will be given to candidates who have successfully completed advanced academic degrees or specialized training in subject matters relevant to the job skills described above.
License or Certification:
Must possess a valid passport that permits travel within the assigned territory, and to and from the U.S.
