  • Participation in teaching assorted topics of rheumatology fellowship curriculum, including responsibility for delivering at least one yearly lecture
  • Day to day clinical mentorship of trainees and professional role modeling

Scholarly activity is expected and may include:

  • Clinical practice program development and quality improvement projects
  • Participation in clinical trials, including pragmatic or decentralized trial models
  •  Digital health innovation and applications of AI in rheumatology care delivery

Institutional and divisional pilot funding and infrastructure are available to support clinically focused scholarship. This position is not structured around a traditional NIH‑funded investigator pathway, and K‑award or R‑level funding is not required.
