Responsibilities
As a Business Partner Executive (BPE), you will be responsible for promoting BioPharma Diagnostics products and services to specific accounts. The BPE will:
- Work with other BioPharma Diagnostics team members to achieve new collaborative relationships.
- Develop existing relationships into larger strategic relationships that provide mutual benefit to the client and Mayo Clinic.
- With the aid of BioPharma Diagnostics Commercialization team, the BPE will effectively prospect to uncover new opportunities for collaboration with BioPharma Diagnostics business.
- Evaluates, identifies, and manages new strategic partnerships.
- In coordination with the Business Director, the BPE will be responsible for building our customer base, working collaboratively and in conjunction with all levels of the BioPharma Diagnostics organization to ensure attainment of goals and objectives.
- Be able to connect client initiatives with Mayo Clinic efforts and offerings.
- Works within complex, highly matrixed organizations and focuses on building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with BioPharma Diagnostics strategic customers and partners.
- Actively partner with team members by fostering an inclusive work environment and respecting others with different background, experiences, and perspectives.
Up to 70% travel is expected with this position.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in the life sciences, business or related fields, and minimum of four years’ experience in the pharmaceutical market, sales, business management, or health care industry experience.
- Prefer candidates that have BioPharma industry experience, in particular with Pharma, IVD or CRO industry.
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required
This position requires the incumbent to work from an office in their home located with the U.S.

Additional Qualifications
- A master’s degree is preferred.
- Account management or field staff experience is preferred.
- Must understand client organizational priorities through application of client, industry, and competitive knowledge.
- Must have a high level of communication, management, and influence skills to engage in value co-creation and join solution development.
- Requires decision-making and problem-solving ability.
- Must be accountable, adaptable, flexible, creative, dependable, responsible, and able to perform well within multifunctional environments.
- Adherence to Mayo Clinic and MCSI policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively deliver presentations as well as communicate clearly and succinctly in writing.
Position Preferences:
Experience in the BioPharma Industry (calling on pharma) is preferred. That doesn’t mean as a pharma salesperson.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.; $76,731 - $115,003/annually with a commission add-on component as well.
