ResponsibilitiesDevelops and produces user friendly routine and ad hoc reports for both internal and external customers. Handles moderately and highly complicated data requests. Makes recommendations to requestor for additional data that may be beneficial to the analysis. The incumbent is responsible for educating new users to the related reporting systems. The incumbent will also consult with experienced users regarding the appropriate use and interpretation of the data and/or development and enhancement of the reporting systems/databases.
Other responsibilities include assuming direct responsibility for defined work duties which may include all or some aspects of implementation, testing, auditing, and trouble-shooting new reporting system/software releases. Must be able to work cooperatively in a team environment toward commonly defined objectives. Good interpersonal communication is a must. Must exhibit high motivation to start and complete tasks independently. May require occasional weekend or evening work depending on project needs and deliverables.
This is a hybrid position and must be located within 100 miles of a Mayo Clinic campus for occasional on-site expectations based on business needs.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in related field; OR associate’s degree and 2 years relevant reporting experience; OR High School diploma and 4 years of relevant reporting experience.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with business intelligence and/or business systems, tools and applications such as Microsoft applications, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Webi, SQL, Tableau or the Epic Cogito reporting framework is preferred. Strong analytical, problem solving, metadata, project management, and systems analysis skills. Experience working in healthcare technology. A working knowledge of Mayo applications and database systems is helpful. Customer-service oriented, timely in responses to requests for service/information, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and have the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in one or multiple Epic Cogito reporting tools.
- Certification in ServiceNow and/or, Microsoft Azure.
- Power BI and Tableau experience.
