Responsibilities
The role is responsible for leading the growth and management of the North American Region. The role is responsible for creating and maintaining strategic partnerships to support the development and delivery of high value solutions and services.
The position will be responsible for the following essential functions:
Strategy
- Create an inclusive and collaborative culture that will drive the team(s) to achieve and surpass growth targets, financial and business goals and objectives; that can communicate the value proposition and understand the strategy.
- Identify and proactively initiate outreach to prospects and highlight the unique value of the program
- Develop and implement strategy to support sourcing and operational initiatives based on outreach to the Program, data-driven analysis and market expertise
- Development of annual operating plan and annually revised 3-year strategic plan for the Program
- Development of subsequent business plans to support future offerings.
- Drive new technology and business capabilities to support the growth and operations of the program
- Provide strategic oversight of client engagements, network operations, drive contract relationships and provide applicable support in all aspects of the program
- Identify distinctive competencies that will continue to differentiate the program from other competitors
- Track the competitive landscape to benchmark strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats from direct competitors, indirect competitors, and potential competitors.
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth and develop strategic roadmaps to ensure the program’s goals are met
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and people designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
- Build relationships and drive partnerships with the key clients and influencers in the industry
Execution
- Drive operations planning, strategy, implementation, execution and continuous improvement
- Drive efforts to scale the North American Region
- Foster a culture of operational excellence through the development of processes and tools and metrics-based KPIs for successful operations of the program
- Oversee network operations projects including planning, implementation, staffing and logistics
- Facilitate and support Steering Committee meetings including agenda planning, documentation and driving recommendations
- Manage oversight of complex network processes based on a combination of technologies, custom solutions, and internal resources.
- Support adoption of new technologies and tools, and recommend capability improvements to optimize for user experience in the program
- Convert users’ needs, pain points, and observations into GTM channels and offerings using a program- and technology lens
- Determine need for new products based on budget, client needs, and improvements in technology.
- Ensure alignment with other teams in the Mayo Clinic Platform

Qualifications
- MBA required
- 8+ years of experience in leading and managing complex partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem
- Proven ability to innovate, problem solve and develop new ideas to advance strategic priorities
- Ability to lead, motivate and promote the continued development of professional staff in a decentralized environment
- Strategic thinker with the ability to formulate compelling vision and strategy and translate that to actionable roadmaps and results. Have superior executive presence and ability to lead executive meetings
- Robust and proactive customer service ethic
- Strong analytical, project management, negotiation, and change management skills
- Effective written/verbal communication skills
- Highly collaborative style
- Ability to lead change and adapt quickly to changing business landscape.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and ability to influence and build strong relationships across multiple levels of an organization.
- Curiosity, a can-do attitude and the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a complex, dynamic environment.
- Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills and ability to track multiple deliverables with minimal direction.
- Highly developed communication and presentations skills with a superior ability to effectively communicate and present complex concepts and issues to leadership teams
- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Must be an initiative taker, eager to break new ground and create opportunities for others.
Additional Experience and/or Qualifications:
- MBA/PhD in business, science, or related field preferred.
- Experience leading innovation-related methodologies
- Agile delivery experience
- Ability to promote strategic alignment across a matrix organization
- Assessing market opportunities, threats, and trends by attending industry events, reading industry publications, and gathering market intelligence and feedback
- Within markets, identify key customers, segments, and corresponding high priority targets
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
- Strong outcome and target-based delivery skills
- Partnership management
