Manager - Revenue Compliance

Provides direction and oversight to compliance office personnel in the continuous monitoring for and interpretation of requirements, identification of regulatory and compliance risks, and working with leadership to identify actions necessary to reduce or eliminate identified risks. Additional responsibilities may include direction and oversight of regulatory on-site inspections, the development of regulatory review of pertinent documents, maintenance of registrations, and communications with regulatory agencies. Provides content expertise in regulations and direction to staff regarding regulatory and compliance initiatives. Represents Mayo Clinic at national conferences. Serves as a key member of the leadership team with a primary focus on administrative leadership, management of allied health staff, operational and strategic planning, and implementation of policies and systems. Performs duties independently and initiates judgment in handling a variety of management issues.

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Health and Human Services, Management, Public Health or other relevant healthcare field. Minimum 6 years of experience within a complex healthcare institution, and/or regulatory compliance/auditing, to include 2 years management experience. Advanced degree in Business, Law, Management and/or Healthcare related field preferred (e.g., MBA, JD, MHA, MS, MA, PhD). Strong leadership, team building, and problem-solving skills as well as demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines, i.e., physician, administrative, supervisory and allied health staff. Additional skills required: Written and oral communication skills, Interpersonal skills, Problem solving skills. Must be able to demonstrate leadership and project management skills. Work is self-directed. Must be able to demonstrate ability to take initiative, work independently, and responsibility for own decision-making. Certification in applicable regulatory, compliance and/or research area preferred (e.g., CCRP, CCRA, CCRC, CIP, RAC, CHC, CHRC, CHPC, etc.). Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
